   Dined before heading over to Chelsea Pier Sky Rink for a college club hockey game (Go Drexel Dragons). Excellent meal. Highlights were the artichokes, pasta ragu, and wild boar. Nice vibe, hopping on a Friday night. Attentive service. Host / Sommelier was super friendly and let us sample some wines so we could choose really enjoyable glasses. Would definitely return.

   Everything was wonderful — thank you!! The salads were perfect. We were interrupted too much for no reason (ie.“…checking in!”) by the server. They can see that we are engaged in conversation, so I’m not sure what the point of interrupting achieves. The server who brought out our main courses was perfect — expedient and smooth — quick to grab fresh utensils, etc. Overall was an exceptional experience! More thanks!

   I’m usually more about the food than the service but at Bottino it was the service that shone brightly. As we approached our table, the music was really loud. I asked the person seating us if it could be turned down and it immediately happened. When we weren’t sure about wine, a knowledgeable sommelier came over to discuss and let us taste. And when we ordered the flight of amari for dessert, we were treated to a delightful and informative tasting by a different sommelier named Anthony, who was engaging, well educated about amari and very generous with his time and the drinks. It all made for a delightful evening. Our food was fine but if I return it will be because of the friendly and welcoming experience.

   Unbelievable food and hospitality. The restaurant is cozy, upscale and very comfortable. I had a party of 12 for dinner on Wednesday night and they took fantastic care of us. I worked with a member of the staff, Devon, to plan the meal and pre-order appetizers. He was friendly and easy to communicate with. When we arrived at the restaurant the manager brought us all to our table and began helping us select wines for dinner. He was present and helpful throughout the meal. The appetizers and entrees were all great! Some of our favorites were the polpettine, arancini, artichokes, bolognese, wild boar shank, branzino, and bucatini. Big thanks to the team at Bottino for a great evening!

    I haven’t been to Botino in years and was pleasantly surprised to see a fabulous as ever. the lunch menu was just perfect and our food was as perfect as well. Our waitress couldn’t have been more pleasant and we werent rushed at all. a great lunch at an old establishment with an old friend. LOVE!!!
