BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic drinks, a beverage program that boasts an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature cocktails. Surrounded by walls of majestic wooden-framed mirrors and original Belle Époque posters, seating at our Union square location varies among pristine white marble and wood bistro tables, cozy burgundy leather booths, a 32ft. handmade pewter bar, and an option for a 40-guest private room, to make the 222-seat restaurant feel timeless.

I celebrated my birthday with a dinner and it was an exquisite experience. This is more traditional French cuisine and very well worth the experience!!

The salmon was raw in the center and had no flavor. The waiter looked like he was angry to serve us and took forever even though the restaurant was empty. The octopus and french onion soup were all right, but nothing to write home about. The only item that wasgood was the ceasar salad. Would not go again.

Our first night in NYC and went to Boucherie and had a great time. Our server Diego was of the Highest caliber!!! The French Onion Soup and Lobster Bisque were awesome starters. The Ribeye was a perfect medium rare and truly delicious! Beef Bouginone lacked a deep wine flavor but was tasty. The Salmon was crispy on the outside tender and moist on the inside. Wines and dessert top notch.

Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome by the hostess to the attentive service from our waiter. The charming, beautifully decorated environment set the tone for the evening. Our waiter’s recommendations were spot-on, and the food was absolutely delicious. They went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration special

Caesar salad was OK. Grilled octopus was good. Salmon was bland. Steak was tough, fries were over salted. Even string beans were not that good. Crème brûlée was good. Nice decor and service was very good.
