   Our first visit to BoujieMana after reading about it in our local newspaper. What a hidden gem! The place is beautiful - the decor really stylish and stunning. I would get rid of the television set above the bar area - kind of takes away from everything else but just my opinion! However, the staff were all very friendly, greeting us warmly when we entered and our server, although he never did share his name, was excellent! The food was delicious and my cocktail was especially yummy! (A blood orange marguerita with sugar on the rim!!) We will definitely return to BoujieMana!!

   This restaurant was fabulous. The food was delicious and unique. Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty, and beautiful. The staff was excellent.

   This was the second time I have been to BoujieMana. Both the food and service are excellent, but on my second visit there were things that could have gone better. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation only to be told they had no tables for us and we could sit at the bar or on the heated patio. If you know San Diego, you know that evenings in Febraury can be quite chilly, but we decided to try the patio anyway. They did try to make it comfortable out there, but it wasn't quite enough. Some screening to block the wind or lap blankets for guests could make this a better set up. The more annoying thing was that they said they would try to move us inside if a table became available, but that never materialized even though quite a few people came in after us and they were all seated inside. We were the only people on the patio for the duation of our meal. Had it been more comfortable, that would have been a great thing. The manager did try to make it up to use with comp'ed appetizers which was a nice touch, but ultimately what was supposed to be a very pleasent date night and a treat of a meal at an amazing restaurant was tarnished by poor table management by the hosting staff. I will very likely return to this establisment, and I hope things go better next time. The wait staff and food are great and I highly recommend this place, but would also recommend that you be prepared should you end up on the patio.

   Party of 6, 50th bday party. Matt our server & entire staff were just amazing! Please bring back the chicken pate though :( LOVE THIS PLACE, 3rd time back!

   The food did not disappoint. Amazing rich flavors and fresh ingredients. Each item we ordered had unique and distinct flavors. Service was engaging and friendly and did not rush away when attention was needed. Definitely coming back.

   This was my first time here. One has to go past an industrial building to get in here, but once you figure out that you were in the right place, it is so worth your while! Food choices were interesting and all were delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

   Wonderful experience, staff is friendly and talented and made our dinner very special. Highly recommend the food, very interesting choices and well prepared. The atmosphere was great, casual but very nicely decorated. Really appreciate the space between tables! A great new find for us, we’ll be back soon. Thanks to your entire staff!

    First time here and had an amazing experience! The people were friendly; the service was great; the ambiance, beautiful; and the food, delicious. So glad to have discovered this place for restaurant week, as it’s down the street from my house. Never knew! I basically had every item on the HH menu (Saturday HH? Auto-win!), and all items were winners. Literally, no notes, but my favorite has to go to the chicken wings. Shoutout to everyone working the bar where I was seated. Will be back for sure!
