   We had a lovely family afternoon at this beautiful hotel. Ambience, food and service excellent. Cannot find a fault. We will definitely be returning.

   An excellent Christmas Day experience, our first time at the Boulevard. The food was outstanding, the service brilliant and the ambience perfect. My only comment was that prior to the meal I had to wait at the bar for some 10 minutes before one of the staff looked my way. However, after our Prosecco, the evening was most enjoyable.

   From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, welcoming and engaged. All too often people ignore the fact that these hardworking individuals have given up their Christmas day to make yours special. They certainly delivered on all fronts. The service was exceptional and the food wonderful. Overall the experience was excellent and after a very challenging year it was lovely to be spoilt. Well done Team Boulevard.

   After a great stay and evening dining experience, I was dissapointed with breakfast. I ordered Poached Eggs and after a while, a waiter came to the table to state there was a problem and that they were awaiting a delivery. I then confirmed that the kitchen had eggs and had water, so could not understand the problem! I then asked to see the breakfast supervisor who stated that the chef needed vinegar! I stated there was vinegar in stock as I had liberally splashed it over my delicious chips in the restaurant the previous evening. A scemantic conversation then followed as to what type of vinegar is required in the cooking of poached eggs. Realising I was not not going to get my order, I resorted to ordering the Lanchasire Full Breakfast with Scrambled Eggs. When it arrived the food was at best of a mediocre temperature but the pot of baked beans was actually cold. I sent the beans back and they were re-heated. The quality of the ingredients were good. My guess is that the Breakfast Chef was late arriving (we saw an employee arriving for work as we were finishing our meal) and whoever was in the kitchen prior, was not experienced enough to cook poached eggs nor ensure the temperature of the food being served. This breakfast experience put a little dampener on what was overall, an excellent stay.

   Lovely breakfast. Lots of choice and good quality items, not cheap rubbish. Fabulous branded condiments. Cooked items nice and hot

   We came for lunch on a Friday in November and the venue was very quiet. But the food was great (fish finger sandwiches)

   Food was amazing, restaurant itself was lovely. We did ask to move tables as a family had younger children that were a little ‘over excited’. This was no problem at all and the service was great from all staff.
