   Amazing service, beautiful place. Not so happy about drinks. Got 3 drinks none stellar nor worth $19.

   Shay, our server was outstanding. Personable and professional, she made our time memorable. Ashley, the head hostess did drop the ball. We checked in upon arrival and told her we would wait at the bar( we were literally 4 ft behind her). After 20 minutes and watching many people being seated my husband approached her and asked how much longer, her response was terse, blaming us for not responding to her “ numerous attempts to contact us”. Please know that one phone call was made, but due to the noise level we didn’t hear it, additionally there were several young ladies seating people and each time they would scan the room we would ask if they were looking for us and most ignored us or told us we weren’t who they were looking for. I realize it was very busy due to Amalie Arena having 2 shows that day. We specifically chose Boulon as we were going to the evening performance. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience and we will be back.

   Reservations made for 6 for a birthday brunch at 2 pm. Table wasn’t ready until 2:30. Waited until 2:45 before a server came to the table. Ordered cocktails that she forgot. Music preformed by a solo artist was too loud. I asked that I be given the bill which she gave to my son. Prior to the reservation we had drinks at the bar. I ordered a French martini and was given an expresso martini. The restaurant was not that busy and our table should have been ready. All in all a disappointment for a restaurant that I love.

   Excellent service by Jarron. Delicious escargot, oysters, mussels and beurre blanc salad with blackened shrimp. Crème brûlée was very good, but not the best. My kir made with Sancerre was lovely, and the fresh lemonade was yummy. A bit noisy, but the holiday music and festive buzz were welcome. All in all, a delightful brunch.

   Food was excellent and worth the price. Service was slow and it took about 10-15 minutes for our server to greet us after we were seated. Food runners also seemed confused and brought the wrong food to us twice. We did greatly enjoy our meal though, the lobster bisque and croque madame were standouts. All four of the cocktails we tried were top notch as well. The ambiance of the restaurant was very classy and the design was evocative of Art Deco. We were surprised at how noisy it was, however it seems like a lot of the noise was from the guest musician playing Christmas music.

   Enjoyed my birthday brunch immensely. Food and service by Megan was awesome! Added bonus Water Street Market allowed some nice strolling after! 🎄

   We made reservations for Sunday Brunch at 11:30am before our Transiberian Orchestra concert at 2:30pm at Amalie Arena. It was perfect timing and seemed to be before the noon rush. Nice ambience and service by Jayden was wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable with great recommendations and personalized care. The food was delicious, well plated and presented. We shared orders of the Creole Benedict, French toast, and Yogurt. All were nicely unique would definitely order each again. Fabulous experience!

    Great outdoor eating area for fun people watching . (But watch where the sun will be moving; we started in the shade but one seat was in full sun a bit later…) Would definitely come again!
