   The fresh oysters are the only thing good here. The rest of the food is bland no care about the taste. A huge disappointment. Apparently they were short a bartender so it took a long time to get a drink order. It's in a great location bordered by hopping oyster bars. Hard to believe the food here is so blah.

   Would not recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting the French Quarter. We were disappointed in the dining experience there. From the moment we walked in, the hostess staff didn’t greet us; the server was not skilled and failed to deliver drinks and food in a timely manner. We waited way toooo long for our food. The menu is so limited, was disappointed in the selection of their fresh seafood choice. The food was on par with any seafood or steak restaurant franchise. Nothing special. There are other amazing food establishments to check out in NOLA. The $200.00 spent for three to dine with no liquor was too much for what we received.

   The experience started out good we arrived early and got seated before our reservation. The table we got seated however was tiny for a table for 5 just the 5 menus pretty much covered the whole table. We got served water and eventually some rather stale tasteless bread with whipped butter, eventually the server took our order for drinks and appetizers, out of the 4 ordered drinks only one showed up. After having waited 45 minutes without the server taking our orders we eventually got someone's attention so we could place the food order. When the food finally arrived it was cold, and the rice was under cooked. We went to this place because we had a great experience here 10 years ago. This was a big let down.

   Worst dinning experienced in the city ever. I understand it’s Super Bowl weekend but the attitude of the server was uncalled for

   The char grilled oysters were amazing as well the the stuffed gulf fish great flavor and cooked perfect.

   We were a group of 3 locals eating oysters for NFL Oyster night during Super Bowl week. Food was soooo fantastic - raw oysters were clean, salty, and cold, grilled oysters, crab claws, pork belly - yum yum yum. Great waiter Tom and manager Alex!

   For this being promoted as a higher end restaurant, their servers was extremely poor quality. With all the food choices in New Orleans, I would not dine at this restaurant.

   I Hank was an amazing server! The milk bunch, boudin balls & Brussels were a 10/10. Our entrees were a little cold but tasty. We saw Jameis Winston so score extra points for seeing the GOAT!

    What a super super place for Cajun food- the gumbo was delicious. And the name - Bourbon House— c’mon— the 250 different bourbons available are a hurt on your wallet—but - love of bourbon will let you breathe again 😊. Raw oysters are the best in town - maybe the only place in N’awlins with an oyster bar— you ever seen or heard of an Oyster Bar??!!? Go enjoy one of the best places in town for food and ambiance and bourbon.
