   It is hard to beat the dining experience of Bowdies anywhere else in the Lansing area. There are very few fine dining restaurants around Lansing, and very few who have survived over the years. Based on the crowd and the quality of the food, I believe Bowdies will be here to stay. The prices are high, but the quality is also high. It won't be a regular weekend place for us, but it will be a special occasion meal moving forward. The only significant drawback for Bowdies is the location. The setting is on the small side and it next to a topless bar. However, it won't stop us from going back.

   Best steak I’ve ever had and I’m a member at a hunt club that has amazing food! So glad I finally got to take my MSU Spartan to this place I’ve heard so much about! We will be back!

   We arrived and there was no heat. Very cold. 20 degrees outside. Not much better inside. Made what was supposed to be a celebration a chilly, uncomfortable dinner. Staff and food were fine, but the cold ruined the evening.

   Espresso martini and bone marrow were great, well worth it. The steaks were just meh. Nothing to go home and talk about. Didn’t finish ours because there wasn’t much flavor.

    Fantastic service from Rachel, and the drinks (bees knees), appetizer (escargot), sides (creamed spinach/au gratin potatoes), and especially the steak (Kansas city), were all delicious and cooked to perfection. We love eating here and will definitely be going back
