We had a nice time. We eat at the upper east version often but thought we would give this a try as it is closer to our apartment. The menu is largely the same. But are a good choice for a meal out.

We arrived at 8:55 am for our 9 am reservation (the restaurant does not open until 9 am. we learned when we arrived). We waited in the very cold temperatures until 9:06 - knocking on the door and windows with no response. We left.

We have gone to Cognac 4 times in the last month. Last night, we had to send back 2 meals out of 5 and the mussels were not up to par. It was definitely on off night, unlike our previous 3 stops.
