   Service was great, very helpful. Food to money value wasn't comparable unfortunately, but the cocktails and staff were great. The $20 a person reservation "deposit", is by no means a deposit, you will not get that back or credited to your bill.

   Service was incredible. Host and server both provided an exceptional experience (notably superior to most other downtown rva restaurants). Build out of the restaurant was impressive for rva. Mushroom soup was absolutely outstanding. Our second appetizer and pasta entrees were ok. Looking forward to returning and trying br service and oysters.

   It was my first time - I had high expectations as I had heard amazing things. It was a special birthday dinner. We thought the food was good.... but didn't blow our minds, considering the price point. A lot of the food seemed overly salted/seasoned and that's coming from someone who loves their salt. The Fondue appetizer and Zeppole dessert (like italian beignets made with ricotta) were both extraordinary and I would come back for those.

   Decor is open, urban, with low light at night. Tables are spaced well, not crowded. The fondue cheese was very good. Our guests who had the burgers said they were quite good. My husband and I got the duck. It was good, with interesting accompaniments, but the flavor was mild. I would have preferred a little more flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were as expected for a celebration dinner. I'm glad we went.

   Always great food and excellent service. Grant has been our server a couple of times and he is always going above and beyond

   That was our first time in this restaurant. The food was very tasty, but the service - extremely slow. It took about 20 minutes after the order to get soup, and once we finished, another 30 minutes to get the main dishes. Our waiter was nice. It seemed that the kitchen was just so slow.

   Every time we visit Richmond we dine here! The food is always amazing and the service incredible. Grant always takes good care of us and anticipates our food choices! When in Richmond, just go and see for yourself!!!

   Had such a wonderful dinner to celebrate my birthday at Brenner Pass. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, telling us about popular selections and checking in often; they even brought us an aperitif unprompted which was delightful! The food itself is the reason to come here though, as everything from the charcuterie board to the entrees was well thought-out and delicious! My sister and I split the tagliatelle and duck confit; both were divine. If I had to nitpick, I would say I wish the seating was a little more comfortable, but regardless, I’ll definitely be coming back here!

   Brenner pass is modern and stylish, has great service and has amazing food. I have eaten there several times and the food is always innovative and expertly cooked. The cocktails are great. And they also have amazing French fries.

    Wonderful service and delicious food! From the appetizer through to the dessert, we loved our dinner out at Brenner Pass. We took advantage of the Thursday night pasta and wine special and will be back!
