   We enjoyed our experience here! A little pricey, but the food was delicious and the waiting staff were absolutely tremendous

   Ate here during restaurant week. Extra for caviar, which was expensive but exquisite. The five-course tasting menu was more than filling by the time we reached dessert. Each dish was beautiful in presentation and consumption. It is not cheap, but this experience should not (and cannot) be an everyday event.

   I surprised my boyfriend for his 30th birthday, we had the five course restaurant week menu. Everything was delicious, they even substituted something for me for my diet, and surprised him with a bday card & candle. Julia served us the most and she was absolutely wonderful and made our evening so special.

   Great service great ambiance. But food was literally just okay. My cocktail was just ok. My wagyu was okay, I’ve honestly had way better and especially for a better price. I will say the dessert was super delicious. But overall I would not recommend or come again.

   Did the 5 course restaurant week menu and the scallops, burrata/ beet salad and Wagyu were my favorites. The pork loin was okay. I should have done the wine pairing as the glass of Chardonnay I had was great.

   Ordered the $65 Restaurant Week menu and the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was cooked to perfection and the service was amazing, as well. Definitely coming back!!

   We had an amazing experience at Bresca. Sat at the bar with Sara - what a treat! Cocktails were impressive, such great balance. The food was ridiculously good, team service was fantastic.

    Bresca was a disappointing experience overall. Nothing felt special. Too many DC restaurants treat Restaurant Week as a "talking down" to patrons, as if we don't deserve their best because we're paying less, rather than what it should be, a chance to impress new visitors and show them what they should come back and pay full price for. Bresca feels like a restaurant playing at being upscale, but the food was unremarkable (I wouldn't go back for anything and forgot most of what I had immediately after eating it), and the service made nothing feel special (as opposed to other dining experiences in town like Cranes, Grazie Mille, or Imperfecto, where everyone working there feels proud of what they're serving and makes each dish feel like a unique and specific experience). My entire party said they wouldn't come back after last night.
