Our vision combines New Orleans inspired recipes with handpicked top-notch local ingredients. We are Cincinnati's only New Orleans inspired gastro pub and we are passionate about staying true to those roots. Our mid-19th century building beckons our guests to come in for one of 18 all craft beers and wine on draft, a house made craft cocktail or one of our lovely small production wines. However, the food is the star at BrewRiver.

Our outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink and an amazing meal! You may be lucky enough to wander in on a night where a blues, folk or jazz musician is playing! Our goal is to give you a little bit of The Big Easy right here in The Queen City! We hope you will come join us and Laissez les bon temps roulez!

For not being very busy, our service was not good. We sat in the bar area where apparently the bartender was our server. We waited almost 15 mins for her to take our drink order because she was busy making drinks for other servers. Then we ordered everything at once since we didn’t know when she’d come back. Our food arrived (app, salad and entrees) almost all at once after waiting for 50 mins. The alligator app was cold and very very small. Certainly not worth $17! While I had hoped to order dessert, we didn’t want to wait any longer and ended up leaving. Best part of our night (and the only good thing) was the live music. Those guys were very entertaining! Loved them!!

We were a party of 6 and were seated right away. Specialty cocktails drinks were yummy and the food was delicious.

Glass was $14 per glass ( didn’t order top shelf wine), Etouffee was very good, not worth $28 though. Fish and chips were okay. Was charged $4 extra for salad dressing and $10 for iceberg lettuce. Waitress did not inform us about extra costs. The website said there would be music from 5-10 but there wasn’t. Seating was uncomfortable. Overall, we were disappointed.

This was our second time and we brought friends. Service was ok girl was new and didn’t know the answers to our questions. Our apps came out and were delicious. Our meals took a ridiculously long time to come out and when they finally arrived they were cold. Very disappointed this time around.

Food was fantastic! Service was awesome. The vibe was really fun. Especially w the amazing jazz music. Gumbo, Pasta Monica and banana pudding were the winning dishes!

I had Pasta Monica and a house salad, and they were excellent! Service was at a welcome pace. Price was very reasonable. Music was outstanding! Overall, our group of 4 was very satisfied with the evening of camaraderie, food, and music. We plan to go again.
