   Restaurant was very cold. When something was said to waiter, her said "yea that is why the table next to you moved, it's warmer in the hallway". We got food before drinks -- two bartenders and they couldn't pour a glass of wine and make one cocktail?? Food was tasty but served warm, not hot, so that was disappointing. Overall would try there again but will wait till spring :)

   Brigade was new to us and a pleasant surprise. You'll find it upstairs at its address, and a different restaurant, "1864" downstairs. We had met our server, Rachel many years ago at Blacksmith in Bozeman ... and she remembered us! We ordered two appetizers from a unique assortment with a surprising number of seafood options (we bought ribs and a Caesar salad) and split a glass of wine. Just right! Beware, they offer a "Coravan" (sp?) version of wine in both white and red. At $31/glass vs normal prices for everything else, the decision was easy for us. You'll want to quiz your server about this Coravan process which seemed very strange to us.

   We went for Happy Hour and we loved it. We are not drink connoisseurs, but we liked what we ordered, and the food was very good. The atmosphere is very nice, with a lot of space between the tables and not very noisy.

   Unfortunately another downtown BZN overpriced low quality establishment that’s in it for the profit not passion. Poorly dressed waitstaff in lounge not work attire that is in alignment with the upscale vibe+, sauces served in diner style devices (hot sauce and mignonette) and terrible beef. A crying shame for the lovely space and ambience and location.

   We have eaten here quite a bit in the past 4years. The ownership and menu have changed. They removed two signature dishes; ribs w blue cheese and a walnut honey shrimp. They were to die for and many of our family and friends still talk about them. The new menu lacks the nummy good comfort food of the past ownership. The focus has totally changed. More on trend minimalistic food. Fries are the still are indulgent sin. Drinks, atmosphere and staff remain outstanding.

   Bison short ribs and polenta was amazing. Nice 14th anniversary dinner, with good service and ambiance was lovely.

   I had the chicken and waffles, and it was delicious. The chicken had a hot honey drizzle on it, and it was the perfect touch. The service was great, and I enjoyed my visit there.

   We had dinner at the bar and Cody was our bartender! He was absolutely fantastic - talkative and welcoming and also open to making creative drinks (which were very tasty)! We’ll definitely be back to see Cody! We got the trout, kale salad with steak, and sardines. The food was fun and creative. Only criticism is they could have better signage to go up the stairs once inside.

    Lovely experience as always! 2nd time this week, a work brunch and a celebratory dinner with our parents. Both servers were timely, helpful, friendly while giving us space to chat. Always our first choice out the many fine restaurants in Bozeman. Will be back as soon as possible! The Clayton Family
