   Went for Valentine’s Day 2025, and they have really stepped up their game. My husband and I go after work quite often, and the last year or two it had seemed like it really went down hill. Last night was the best experience we’ve had at Bristol in quite some time. The staff was dressed nicely w suspenders and for the “Casablanca” theme- but honestly it wasn’t over done or too much and we thought it was a really nice touch. Maybe they should always dress this nice! The food was great and the music was perfect. Staff was on point as well. It was a total turnaround from previous visits and I hope they can keep it going!

   My wife and I came here for Valentine's Day / our Anniversary. They advertised a special Casablanca themed evening, which was enjoyable, but their guitarist was honestly just really distracting. The service was really good. Our waitress was very conscious of keeping our beverages filled the whole time and communicating with the kitchen about my wife's food allergies. As for the food, the meatball appetizers were really good. They have a nice zing that you usually don't expect, but we really liked it. Unfortunately, it seemed the kitchen must have just been too overwhelmed, because they came out after our entree. We both ordered the special, a steak with green beans and a potato that seemed to be mashed then piped back into the skin and baked. The steak was okay, but honestly not anything special. We both ordered them medium rare, so I expected it to be a bit more tender than it was. It was somewhat fatty, and it came smothered in a jus and was paired with a horseradish sauce and a side of parsley at the table. All the strong flavors were definitely there to make up for an otherwise bland steak. The green beans were good. The potato on the other hand was fairly hard, like it was sitting around a while. We did order a dessert; the Bourbon Pecan Tourte. It was pretty good, we really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a fun themed experience, but it left me a bit unimpressed. I think there are better quality restaurants in the area. My wife was happy though, so I guess that's what really matters!

   Casablanca Valentines night was great! Not over done. Very tasteful! Enjoyable atmosphere, light, live acoustic guitar and an excellent server!

   Service was great for my business lunch. Lunch was priced reasonably for what we ordered. The spinach salad and cheeseburger were tasty and always reliably delicious.

   Lunch at the Bristol in the Highlands was wondeful as always. Lasue was, as always, happy, fiendly and knowlegable. Food was very nice except the black bean soup could have been wame. We will be back again soon.

   Service was on point but the food was just ok. Salad was wilted. I think the supply chain was off that day

   Overall it was a nice experience. Unfortunately, our server was not very good and seemed completely distracted the entire night. We were never offered bread even when our entrees were served. We’ve eaten at the Bristol many times and generally receive excellent service so we will consider this an aberration, but it was disappointing.

    Typical food was excellent. Price has increased by and average of $2.00 from the menu listed on the internet; while the portions have decreased. Also, Tea is not listed on the Menu while we were charged for Tea. Hidden cost, this is actually illegal. The service was HORRIBLE! We actually complained to the manager, here are a few of the issues: 1. Received the complimentary bread, but failed to provide plates 2. Order Appetizer, Salad and Entree' all at the same time with the waitress. Salad with received first and 5 minutes later the Appetizer was delivered. Again, without any plates. This time we requested plates. 3. Waitress failed to check on us while her attention was primarily on the individuals consuming alcohol. She checked on them 3 or 4 times but we were not acknowledge 4. Had to ask a food runner for additional Tea and bread. (Never received the Bread) 5. Once we were done the waitress came to check on us. We requested our bill and paid. With a Bill of $82.00 I would expect better service. We are frequent visitors to the Bristol Bar & Grille in the Highlands, VERY disappointed.
