We had a great time, chicken and waffles and the egg Benedict dishes were good. The staff are fantastic! Also, can’t go wrong with bottomless mimosas.

We made an Open Table reservation at Brix yesterday since it had been awhile since we'd been there for breakfast. We drove downtown, parked, and entered the restaurant where we were completely ignored by the hostess for 28 min. While there was a written note to wait for a hostess, she was disappearing for 10+ minutes in between seating each party. When she finally came down to the front door, and I was able to make eye contact, I motioned to her "two" to indicate we needed two seats. She was abrupt and walked right by me with a snippy comment. She finally returned for us and seated us in a corner where we waited several minutes for our server to appear. The server brought us water and doughnuts, but took another 10 min to retrieve plain coffee and soda. The coffee would have been great but it was cold. We ordered immediately and waited another 20+ min for our food to arrive, which tasted great but was also cold. At this point we had been there for one hour - our parking kitty 1 hour reminder popped up right as the food arrived. While we were waiting, I observed our hostess was also setting up tables, but i don't think i have ever seen a person work so slowly. It was clear why Brix had so many people waiting at the front door for extended time. I write all of this in hope that the manager / owner of Brix sees this and realizes what kind of service Brix is delivering on a busy Saturday morning. BTW, we weren't the only people unhappy, so I am guessing their staff will cost them more than a few return customers.

They have a really great happy hour and we love to enjoy it before we go to concerts at Roseland. It’s not far of a walk between the two locations.

Service from start to finish was great!! Food was just ok. Not much to write home about. Burger was not seasoned at all. Fries were warm and somewhat soft instead of hot and crunchy. The breakfast platter with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and toast was had No season in the eggs or hashbrowns. Hashbrowns were undercooked. Haven’t had dinner here yet and was told it was best to check out dinner.

The host was very nice and even though we were early for our reservation he seated us quite quickly. The wait staff was friendly and engaging. Food was tasty pub fare as expected

Food (steaks/fish/burger) and drinks were delicious. Service was great. Surprisingly quiet Thursday evening but no slacking from the staff. Great place to take out of towners as there is something for everyone. :)
