Broadway 830 fills a number of needs in that we did not have a hand-crafted artisan pizza shop in town but also it adds life and vitality to our downtown area. Excluding franchise fast foods, Uvalde is largely devoid of locally owned restaurants offering hand crafted non-traditional (BBQ or Mexican food) options in a social environment like you would find in Austin. Broadway 830 is at the intersection of the 2 longest highways in North America, serving the downtown community and in the popular urban industrial motif like is common in other cultural centers.

Had excellent service never had to wait for the waiter always bought refills without being asked for them. Had a wonderful time will definitely come back.

We arrived at 12:50 for our 1 pm reservation & were seated immediately by very attentive & friendly waiter who took our drink orders immediately. Food orders for our table of 11 were taken promptly. The problem was with the food coming out. No one wants to start eating until all the food is out. First people covered their food with napkins to keep flies off waiting for everyone’s food to arrive. At 1:45 pm when half of us had been served, we gave up & started eating. One member of our party only had an hour for lunch & when her food arrived at 1:55 pm, she asked for a to go box. The last person to get their food was served at 2:05 pm. Absolutely not acceptable. We meet once a month & we’re looking for a quiet place so we could visit & hear each other. The Courtyard was great for that purpose. But we will not be back since you are unable to get your food out in a timely manner. We choose 1 pm to avoid the noon rush. The restaurant was not full at 1 pm.
