   I should've listened to my daughter when she called this place a "glorified" Chinese restaurant. While the ambiance was inviting, with dim lighting and quaint decor setting a nice tone upon arrival, the service and overall experience left much to be desired. Our waitress, Naila, started off well enough but didn’t deliver the welcoming experience one would expect for first-time guests unfamiliar with the "Brooklyn Chop House" concept. She wasn’t engaging, didn’t offer any recommendations, and left us to figure things out on our own. When we mentioned we wanted to try the "Restaurant Week" menu, she simply informed us there were “no substitutions” and provided no further guidance, leaving us to fend for ourselves. The real disappointment came when my guest requested their noodles be remade without sauce because the dish was overwhelmed with soy sauce. A staff member told us that making the noodles without sauce wasn’t possible. We asked for the manager, and while Laila assured us she’d see us in a minute, that minute never came. To make matters worse, as we were preparing to leave, I overheard Naila enthusiastically engaging with another table. She broke down the menu, offered suggestions, and shared her favorite dishes—exactly the level of service we had hoped for but didn’t receive. Despite the lackluster service and unresolved concerns, I still left a 20% tip, though I left feeling offended and disappointed. Between the unresponsive management, inconsistent hospitality, and lack of accommodation, this is, unfortunately, a “one and done” experience for me. Customer service and good food are equally important, and this place didn’t deliver on either. I wouldn’t recommend it, but to each their own.

   Awesome experience. Welcoming staff, prompt service from all members of wait staff, who were very friendly. Food delicious. Please try the ginger lobster tails. Thanks BK Chop House for following the platinum rule of treating me the way, I want to be treated!

   I've been to Brooklyn Chop House numerous times. It never disappoints. The food is always amazing, the service is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable.I highly recommend it.

    food was ok, not great. Also it was pricey. Not worth it in my opinion. Service and music was great.
