                                                                                            This was a first date night since getting together for us and we couldn't have picked a better place. Sadly the table we had booked wasn't ready but the team were fantastic. Always keeping us informed, apologising and we even got a free drink out of it. Once seated we were very well looked after, the food was amazing. We both had a Fillet Steak and was cooked perfectly. This was my 3rd visit and am already looking forward to the 4th.

                                                                                            The rear of the restaurant was very busy and noisy, difficult for my wife who has a hearing deficiency. David managed to find us a table at the front which was so much better. Food and service excellent

                                                                                            Lovely steak. Good beer. Good chips. Good service. Salad was overdressed. Got a bit soggy. Reckon stick some dressing on the side and let diner add it themselves. That dropped a star I’m afraid.

                                                                                            Food was delicious - great to try a sharing board and different cuts. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Only thing I’d say as a heads up is to point out which cut is which when serving the plate ~ not a biggy as they were very helpful when asked . Side dishes were SPOT ON. Caroline was a lovely waitress - personable , attentive and chatty
