Bufala is an independent restaurant born out of a passion for pizza and the belief that all communities need a great restaurant.
For Kerrisdale, Bufala is that gathering place - where friends and families can gather for delicious food & drink every day of the week. We prepare fresh, scratch-made classic & contemporary pizzas in the Napolitana style - blistered to perfection in our 800 degree stone oven - along with a tasty selection of Italian-inspired small plates and desserts. Great food. Highlights were the meatballs and the Olive and Artichoke Pizza (really great). Service was professional but not very polite or warm. A more welcoming, warm service would have made our experience 5 star.

The food was good. Service a bit on the slow side and the garlic bread came out well after the salad. Almost the same time as the pizza. I would have brought out the salad and garlic bread at the same time.

Bufala used to be a high-end Italian pizza restaurant, have not been there for quite a while. Their $42 three-course "Vancouver dine out" menu is good value for the price. The food was solid, though not outstanding, it hit the mark without particularly standing out. The service was decent, though there was a bit of a wait at the door as the staff were busy serving drinks and taking orders from other customers. It would have been nice if they showed us to our seats first, it felt a little awkward standing there. Despite this small hiccup, the atmosphere and food made for a satisfying meal. Overall it's a nice neighborhood restaurant, will be back, just not in a rush.

We came at 4:45 before the Fever Candlelight Show, great location to then walk to the show. Service was noticeably inattentive for the menu price point. We had to wave our server down for refills, plate clearance and pepper. Our server spent most of the night with her back to the room chatting with the kitchen team. Food was average. Skip the burrata pasta. But the pizzas were good. Overall average restaurant with below average service.

Pizza was cold and has no cheese. Pasta was tossed in barely any sauce - tasteless. Salad was quite dry. Won’t be back.

This is our go to place for pizza, just love the quality of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant and the great wait staff and cooks. We did Dine Out Vancouver so got great value for the money. Highly recommend this place for great pizza, and don't forget to try the kale salad, it's quite fab.

Met up with friends and Thursday evening there is a "Two can dine for $49". It was an excellent meal and value though the one pizza was not as "tasty' as the other. But lots to eat and a lower price on some drinks.
