Showing up hungry is always a problem when you want to take pictures of the food. However, trust me the fromage (cheese) board was lovely and delicious. A little short on bread to start off but quickly remedied with more supplied (bonus: 2nd baguette comes out warm too). The halibut was a superb and creative presentation. The asparagus was warm and crunchy, cooked to perfection. My wife's ratatouille was delicious but she said a bit heavy on the salt (I didn't try it). Our guest loved the French onion soup, but I think between the great cheese board and the soup, she was done with cheese for the evening. I was pleasantly surprised that the noise level was pretty subdued even with all of the hard surfaces present and a full restaurant. This was my first experience of dinner inside; prior visits had been lunch inside and brunch outside. The restaurant is a wonderful addition to our little neighborhood but was still miss the friendly staff of the US Post Office it replaced.

The food was fantastic and our waiter Allan was so wonderful! He provided us with wine recommendations based on our appetizers and entrees, and what we ended up choosing paired with our meal nicely. We enjoyed the Escargot, Pomme Dauphine, Steak Frites, & Poisson a la Plancha. It was my birthday so they brought me a delicious treat topped with a candle to celebrate which was very kind of them. Funnily enough we didn’t realize until we arrived at the restaurant that it was the old post office that my dad worked at for decades. It was cool making new memories and enjoying a wonderful meal in what use to be the sorting room/loading dock area lol. Overall, it was a superb experience and we can’t wait to go back.

Lovely little bistro and not too busy on a Thursday night. Ordered wine, a burger and a steak. Steak came back a little too pink for my liking but they were quick to fix the issue. Will definitely be back.

The potatoes Dauphine were like eating clouds! Lovely ambience too, and nice wine selection. I was able to order a THC seltzer with dinner, even better!
