   We waited 40 minutes for our server because there were only three in the whole restaurant. While we waited, we heard music being piped in through blown speakers overhead, so the typical blown speaker sound was overshadowing the music I’m not quite sure what’s going on in this place, but they are extremely low staffed. After 40 minutes of waiting, we ordered drinks and an appetizer that took another 30 minutes to arrive. I ordered a gray goose martini with blue cheese olives. The last I checked, there was no water in a martini. However, my gray goose was very watered down, the olives were horrible and just old and bad.. I didn’t wanna wait another 20 minutes for the server so I walked to the bar myself and talk to the one bartender who refused to open another bottle of Grey goose because she said she wasn’t allowed to. So does my guess that they are trying to extend their alcohol by watering it down. The restaurant was not crowded, so there was no reason that I could see that the kitchen would’ve taken that long to prepare meals. When the food finally arrived, it was OK. The portions were extraordinarily small. We were there for 2 1/2 hours… nothing should’ve taken that long. I’ve been to other Burtonwood taverns and they were definitely not like this . I will never ever go back to this Burntwood Tavern at Landerbrook, and would definitely warn anyone to stay away unless you have a lot of time to kill, want water, down drinks, and overpriced food, that comes in small portions. It is my opinion that if this place keeps up this way that it will close very soon.

   Our server was nice but she was one of 3 people I saw working at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. The bartender and one other server were visible. The restaurant was maybe 30% full. We had fruit flies flying around our table the entire meal. The food was just ok. This place has gone downhill over the past several years - both food quality and cleanliness. I'm not sure how they continue to stay open. The servers are always nice and attentive. This visit was no exception to that. Probably wouldn't visit here too often.

   I had a nice brunch on Saturday 10/26. My friend had the Classic with perfectly cooked over-easy eggs and crispy hash browns. I had the Belgian Waffle which was very tasty. The service was attentive.

   Our server Frank S was great. He recommended the cheesecake for dessert which 4 of us shared easily because it was huge. We hosted two people who don’t usually visit Burntwood and they loved it.

   Not really sure what happened here but definitely worst Burntwood experience ever. Made a reservation and got there early. Nobody greeted us and others for 15+ minutes. The group in front of us waited longer than we did to get recognized. We decided to eat at bar which was fine from that point on. Food was fine. Staffing obviously an issue. If you are really hankering for some Burntwood action, I would go to a different one.

   The restaurant was clearly understaffed and dealing with large parties that delayed seating reservations. Not a big deal to wait a few extra minutes. The holding area near host stand at entrance became full and there was no logic or order to how groups were seated (reservation vs non reservation, or who was there first). We were seated about 15 past orig reservation time and sat for 14 minutes with no one even acknowledging us, we could tell it wouldn’t be a good experience, so we made a different reservation at a nearby restaurant and left without anyone saying a word to us. Also, although the online menu says “items may vary by location” we were planning on getting chicken wings and they are not on the Lyndhurst menu which was disappointing. Not sure I’d be willing to take another chance on this location.
