First week to be open and needs some fine tuning. Service was very slow. Food was good. Some effort to decrease background noise would be helpful

I think maybe we ordered wrong. A couple of our dishes were outstanding and a couple of others were just ok. Overall a good experience and would return, but would just order differently.

Excellent Service and the food was outstanding. My wife had the roast chicken and I had the filet. Both were excellent. We highly recommend the deviled eggs and the oysters for an appetizer.

Food was amazing! We had appetizers, salad, soup, main course and dessert. We sat toward the back at a two top. Maybe if that area could figure out a way to make it more cozy with more booths or better chairs with dimmed lighting. Felt a little disconnected back there. Wished we were sitting more in the middle in the booths.

From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by a sense of understated elegance. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between sophisticated and inviting, making it clear that we were in for a special evening. The Food The dishes were nothing short of extraordinary. Each plate was a testament to the chefs’ skill and passion for their craft. Thoughtfully curated flavors, beautifully balanced ingredients, and artistic presentation elevated every course into an experience rather than just a meal. The service matched the food in excellence. Attentive but not overbearing, the staff ensured every detail was handled seamlessly, adding to the evening’s charm. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers on its promise of Michelin-star quality on opening night, but Byrdie's surpassed every expectation. It’s clear that this talented duo has poured their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience. If you’re looking for a meal that will leave you talking about it for days (or longer), Byrdie's an absolute must-visit. Congratulations to the team for what will surely become one of Louisville ’s most celebrated dining .

Byrdie’s is a standout addition to Louisville’s food scene. The staff’s hospitality stood out, creating a warm yet polished experience. The food here added depth to the city’s dining landscape. Each dish felt deliberate, with flavors that were well-balanced, paired with thoughtful presentation. Byrdie’s brings a level of refinement that elevates French cuisine in Louisville, making it a must-try. Highlights of the night included their foie gras torchon, which was decadently smooth with pear, and the short rib pitivier, paired with beets, and wrapped in warm, flaky pastry. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.

Byrdies is a wonderful addition to Nulu dining. The chicken, the foie gras, and most especially the tarte tatin were spectacular.

Absolutely loved Byrdie's. Environment, offerings, presentation, service, everything was excellent. The quality of the food and combination of flavors was so unique and very pleasing, and the menu felt really unique and diverse without being overwhelming. My guest and I both thoroughly enjoyed the evening and never felt the stress ourselves of what we're sure was a stressed kitchen in their first days of operating. 10/10, will be going back.
