   Very good restaurant with beautiful flatware, China and glasses. Limited menu at this time. Excellent service. BUT. Incredibly over priced. Seems c29 is trying to do breakout pricing. But it doesn’t merit it. The wine list is massively overpriced. Corkage policy $75 unless equivalent bottle is purchased. Seems aggressive in Napa which is a destination that actually promotes wine consumption. I wish this restaurant success. This is our second time here. But I fear that a restaurant which cannot rely on locals to support based on its pricing (this is not a French laundry or a Press), will not survive. Best of luck. Incidentally many of the California Chardonnays listed are unfortunately passed (ie too old (01,03) yet remain in their list.

   Truly the best in Napa. Same as Capo in LA. Nothing better. Chef Bruce Marder is a legend.

   THE MOST EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT IN ST. HELENA. With a totally unreasonable corkage charge and a mandatory 20% tip on top of a $75 corkage fee - (real fee is $90) I don't expect this place to be around very long

   This pop up, soft open has the look and feel of a great restaurant. Front of house staff was wonderful even given the newness of menu etc. However, main courses were sadly lacking (particularly in light of pricing!!); salt instead of flavor seemed to be the technique. More work to do if they hope to pull locals and garner a reputation in St Helena fine dining.

   My wife and I went to dinner at this new restaurant in the center of St Helena to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. We started the evening with a cocktail and a variety of breads and bread sticks served with humus and olive oil. The waiters and hostess were nice and attentive, for example in helping us each pick a glass of wine to suit our individual palates and menu selections. We tried the Caesar salad, spinach and mushroom soup, the fresh pasta ravioli, a pork chop and finished with the chocolate souffle. I especially enjoyed the ravioli and the pork chop but as I said every course seemed perfect. The ambiance was set by the fine china, decor, and impressive art collection. The prices were reasonable, considering the super high quality of everything. I would definitely go back!!!

   Food was good, but not spectacular . Everything was ridiculously overpriced. The overly attentive serve staff was annoying.

   Hi Stevi, we are disappointed to hear that your experience could have been more relaxing. We are new to Napa and our sister restaurant is the loved Capo in Santa Monica, LA. We appreciate there is a slight culture difference and we constantly work to anticipate our guests needs and desires.    Outstanding food & service. One of the more expensive meals in the valley but we felt the entire experience was worth it. Free corkage on Tuesday & Wednesday through the end of the year. Highly recommended!

    The service was really great, but the food was not good at all. No one in our party enjoyed their meals. The shrimp was very undercooked and under-seasoned, even through the waiter touted it.
