Café Britaly is a cheeky addition to Peckham's exciting food scene. Specialising in Britalian food made by ex-Bouchon Racine chef Alex Purdie, served in an informal airy mid-century café environment. Whilst the Britalian Carbonara with Cream, deep-fried Pizzetta Crunch, and 'superior-to-tiramisu' Zuppa Inglese trifle, have been shocking Italian Instagram there are many other classic dishes that focus on British-Italian provenance also. Situated on Rye Lane it is a centrally located Peckham restaurant, between the station and the Rye (Peckham Common).

The welcome was lovely. They stored our luggage for us & even allowed us to bring our well behaved whippet with us. The menu was innovative. Good veggie choices. Many things fried but Delicious. Full of flavour. Sharing dishes worked. Recommend the mackerel starter & negronis. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks. XXXt

Too much a cafe and not enough a restaurant once the evening came. Customers using zoom loudly even though it was definitely evening service. Needs to choose what it is and price and service accordingly.

oh my goodness! how they pump such fabulous food and drink out of such a small kitchen is beyond me. everything we ate was both unique and delicious. the rabbit was a hit with our whole party (who ranged in age from 3- 39). the rest of the sunday roast was also excellent, no soggy veg in sight! the service was excellent and the space itself would be perfect for any occasion. will look forward to going back with friends.
