Cafe Landwer's Beacon Street location is an exceptional restaurant: Ambience is mellow, decor is cozy and tasteful, to a person, the host and waitstaff are unfailingly warm and welcoming. On all of several recent occasions of dining there, food quality was outstanding, service prompt, and waitstaff communicated a genuine sense of caring about the diner's experience. They never appeared rushed. This is a true Boston gem!

My family and I are long-time customers because we live only a few blocks away. Some of the waiters/waitresses even know our orders by heart. Today, we had made a reservation and ordered our usual brunch. As we were enjoying our tea towards the end, we get told brusquely by the receptionist that we need to leave because another reservation will need the table soon. There were other booths who had got there before we did and weren't told to leave. We had only been there for a little over an hour too. It felt belittling and rude. While we do enjoy the food and appreciate the service usually, this was over the line and not worth coming back for. We won't be coming here again.

It is always wonderful. Great ambiance really authentic Middle East cuisine and terrific coffee. My favorite humus and mushroom… chicken shawarma…all kinds of panini.

Cafe Landwer's 900 Beacon Street location is as fine a restaurant as I have experienced over ten years living in greater Boston: Exceptional, reasonably priced cuisine, gracious host(ess) and wait staff, prompt food delivery, and a wonderfully cozy amibience. My only dissatisfaction on 12/207/24 was the music---which was well chosen---but was somewhat too loud, a minor concern in an otherwise exceptional establishment.
