   The facility is beautiful. The food was excellent but the courses came very fast. A slower pace would have enhanced the dining experience. I also would have expected a slightly elevated dessert to complete the meal rather than the two scoops of sorbet we were served. The conversation noise level was very high. My husband and I could hardly converse without yelling to hear each other. Not the place to go for a romantic fine dining celebration.

   Absolutely spectacular as usual! We had a window table - even though it was raining, it was good place. I selected the fillet and Chilean sea bass. Yummy! Other places are known for steak, but Monarch’s steak is great and cooked just as requested. Chilean sea bass was a treat - hard to find these days. My husband had the Iberian pork chop - also very good. The standout was a special creation - fresh (never frozen) crab leg rolled in a shrimp and scallop mouse - unbelievable. Our waiter, Chris was knowledgeable about the food and Argentina, our next place to visit. Put Monarch on your “must go” list.

   Absolutely amazing food, amazing ambiance and great service. Loved every second of it. Strongly recommend it if you are looking for a nice fine dining experience. Do not forget to dress to impress as there is a dress code which is greatly appreciated and strongly enforced.

   Food was incredible, Chris and the rest of the servers were very attentive and knowledgeable of the venue and food presentation when it can out. Can not recommend enough

   We visited this restaurant for the first time for my wife’s 40th birthday. We were stunned at the level of service of all staff, the quality of the food, and the uniqueness of the ambiance. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Was it pricey? Of course. But was it memorable? Absolutely! We had the 8-course tasting menu, which ended up being closer to 10 after a couple additional courses chef provided at no extra cost. Food was world-class, delicious, and a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

    Cafe Monarch in Scottsdale is an amazing experience. We come each year for our anniversary, and have never been disappointed. The food is always beyond expectation. The attention to detail for every course is what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. They have sommeliers on staff to explain each wine available. If you are uncertain about what wine you want, they will help you find one that not only suits you, but your budget as well.
