   We had the Sri Lankan curry. While I enjoyed the meal the accompanying naan bread was dreadful. In no way was this made by a chef. More likely a builder. Tiny and brick hard. The meal was lovely albeit very mild for me I’m not a fan of pork in curry quite dry and overcooked. The beef was lovely and tender and chickpea was also nice. I don’t know if I’d go back. £13+ for a pint of lager and a coke was a it OTT as well. Waiting staff were excellent.

   We went here to celebrate my grandmothers 86th birthday and had the best time! The food was incredible, but the service was even better. Everyone made my gran feel so special for her birthday and we couldn't have asked for any more! Great attention to detail. Can't wait to go back!

   We visited for my birthday on 2nd January The staff were friendly The restaurant was very very cold and my hubby and Mum put their coats back on! The food choice was limited but staff were happy for us to have two starters which were very nice This is the second time we have visited on my birthday and there has been a hitch on each visit so we won’t do it again.

   Booked a celebration lunch for my birthday. Really disappointed on the service provided. This was primarily due to lack of staff. Had to ask for a menu and drink approximately half an hour after arrival. Food was late in arrival approximately 1 hour. Customers arriving after us were served before. Very disappointed. Will not be back.

   Main meal was lovely. It was a seafood special. Staff were lovely. Manager was a bit bossy which could be overheard by guests. Desert was a let down. The tiramasu was dense and dry.

   Took my mother in.law for Sunday lunch. She is 95 and really enjoyed the food and setting. Only down side is having to get her up the steps at the entrance. A ramp would be so useful as she walks with a wheeled walker.

   New menu launched which is quite limited. Missing a steak choice but what we fad was very good. Duck cofit needs an extra side, chips or potatoes, curry lamb shank was delicious.

   5 of us went for the Curry night and it is amazing. Sides and 3 mains and only £12.50 per person. Excellent food and service. Plenty to eat but we did find room for a lovely dessert. Chef is from Sri Lanka and runs this night once a month. Would definitely recommend and will be back next month hopefully.

    Catch up with a friend to celebrate my birthday. Lovely setting, great staff. Food and drink really nice and sunset was an added bonus.Lovely countryside hotel.
