   I recently visited Caldera at Vida for my birthday with a group of six. While the atmosphere, décor, and music were enjoyable, the overall experience left much to be desired. First, their website provides very little information about what’s included in their packages. I tried calling multiple times at different times of the day and even sent a message through OpenTable, but never received a response. This lack of communication made it difficult to plan properly. When we arrived, we were seated promptly, but since two people in our party couldn’t make it due to the weather, they moved us to a much smaller table—even though our original table remained empty the entire evening. It felt unnecessary and made dining uncomfortable. The billing was another issue. We initially booked for four open bar and four regular, but we updated it to four open bar and two regular. However, when we got the bill, we were charged for five open bar and one regular. Additionally, the "open bar" is misleading—it only includes a small selection of four or five cocktails, not a true open bar. Another unexpected charge: they brought water to the table without us asking and didn’t mention that it would be billed. These kinds of hidden charges should be disclosed upfront. As for the food, it was underwhelming. We had the calamari and empanadas as appetizers and the lomo saltado for our entrées, and it was all overly salty and just not enjoyable. We originally wanted to order baklava for dessert, but were told it wasn’t available, so we went with the tres leches instead. The staff was a bit dismissive and seemed to have an attitude at times, which added to the overall disappointment. Overall, while the ambiance is great, the lack of transparency, billing issues, and mediocre food means I probably won’t return. If they improve their communication, customer service, and clarify their pricing, they could create a much better dining experience to match the beautiful atmosphere.

   Drinks, Appetizer, Food, Hookah, Employees - all were 10/10! I could not recommend this place enough!

   My experience was wonderful I celebrated my birthday here ! The food was good but it was too salty for my liking but otherwise I would come again ❤️ I love the environment and the ambiance 💕

   Gorgeous place! Beautiful decor, super fun vibe, great photo ops everywhere. Great drinks and hookah. Food was decent but not amazing. Waiter was really nice but seemed busy with a lot of tables. Overall we had a really fun time!

   I’ve been to Caldera before and had an amazing experience, but my visit on Friday, November 15th, was absolutely terrible. The service was HORRIBLE. Our waitress clearly couldn’t have cared less about our table. Drinks were messed up, I had to ask for sparkling water multiple times, and we were constantly waving her down for basic service. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there’s no excuse for the complete lack of attention. We would have stayed longer and spent more, but the service was so bad that we couldn’t wait to leave. It’s shocking how far the experience has fallen since my first visit. Based on this, I’m not sure I’d bother coming back.

   We were ignored so we left and went to a great Indian Restaurant named, “Essence of Kesar” down the street and had an amazing meal with great service.

   This place is only for the eyes. It is beautifully decorated for amazing pictures. The food was very bland, no taste and dry. The lamb chops were over cooked, the shrimp pasta tasted like fish, the pita bread was burnt and the chicken with rice was bland. The food wasn’t good but what was worse was the service. The place was empty and the server was barely seen. It took too long to get drinks or even ask for drinks. The only reason she even received a big tip was because it’s added when you’re a large group. She didn’t deserve anything because she didn’t do anything. I would not recommend this if you want to eat, if you just want to take pics then it’s perfect.

    I celebrated my Birthday on this place they are valet parking which help so much consider dining on Englewood on weekends, the place is well decorated so many photo ops area, the cocktails is good but food options is not too much, I enjoyed their flavor of their hookah it’s unique, the music is too loud so if you need an Intimate dinner choose the area indoors. We will definitely comeback to hopefully see the dancing show, none that Friday we went.
