Ich bin extra spät abends mit einem TAXI zum Restaurant gefahren für fast 40€. Die Reservierung war für spät Abends, dennoch konnte man noch reservieren! Zur Sicherheit wollte ich noch mal im Restaurant anrufen, um sicher zu gehen das es dort noch essen gibt. Leider ist dort niemand ans Telefon gegangen. Als wir dort waren, wurden wir schon komisch beäugt. Irgendwann kam der Kellner und meinte der Chef wäre nicht da und deshalb hätten Sie unsere Reservierung nicht gesehen. Am schlimmsten fand ich jedoch, dass er während wir miteinander gesprochen haben an sein Handy gegangen ist. Das macht man einfach nicht und so sieht meiner Meinung nach keine ernsthaft gemeinte Entschuldigung aus.

The place was fine, very few vegeterian options for my friend. Food was wholesome but simple, more expensive than you'd expect. The place was quiet - no one was sitting in the restaurant or front out door tables - this meant there wasn't much ambience.

Beautiful corner of the town, some of the food was amazing some of the food was disappointing.

Wir waren zu zweit im CALEO und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Erstaunlicherweise war der Laden an einem Mittwoch-Abend vor einem Feiertag recht leer. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten vorweg eine Spargelcreme-Suppe, danach Iberico-Kalbsbäckchen und Bœf-La-Motte. Lediglich den Beilagen-Semmelknödel fand ich mangelhaft. Der hat geschmeckt wie das handelsübliche Fertigprodukt. Ansonsten war alles spitze und die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend.

Haben gestern Abend ausgezeichnet gegessen, das Rinderfilet so gut wie ich noch nirgends eins gegessen habe, auf den Punkt genau wie bestellt. Ausgezeichnete Weinkarte und Weinempfehlung. Bedienung und Chef😉 sehr freundlich. Kommen sicher beim nächsten München Trip wieder.

Der neue Caleo ist eine Bereicherung für die Innenstadt, weg von Touristenkonzept wird der Gast mit toller Küche, Top-Weinen auch offen, freundlicher, sympathischen Service. Noch nicht ganz fertig gestaltet, erkennt man aber neue Ausrichtung. Weiter so👍🏻
