    Valentines date night it was wonderful the cocktails where fabulous, the beef tartar was amazing, , and the steak frites hit the spot . Staff was friendly and we left very satisfied.

    Somewhat disappointing. Service was pleasant but slow - 10 minutes before the drink order was taken. The halibut was overcooked but the sauce was delicious. The noise level was very uncomfortable, making conversation more of a shouting match.

    The food and service was impeccable. Dining room is a little tight as the restaurant itself is quite quaint. It didn’t bother us at all but be prepared to share a bit more of your personal bubble and overhear your neighbors.

    My fave restaurant in Portland! Only dropped a star on food as they switch from the regular steak to Salisbury steak which was not great. Bring back the usual steak frites please!

    Our food was exceptional. We loved sitting at the counter watching the care that went into preparation, the camaraderie of the staff and the overall experience. The vibe in Canard is special. We'll be back for sure.

    The new mushroom entree on the menu is amazing, we should have ordered two of those instead of the halibut which lacked cohesion. Another winner was the mussel dish with a great mix of flavors. The music was a little loud which made it conversation difficult, but overall a wonderful experience.
