   Everything my husband and I had was amazing! From the jerk wings, to the oxtails, peula rice fried cabbage, and crispy kale! If you want a nice intimate dining experience with great food and people, 10 out of 10 HIGHLY recommend! We’ll be back!

   Food was great although a bit on the pricey side. Ordered crispy kale which was delicious but it was loaded with spice and barely eatable.

   One of the best restaurants I have been to lately. The balance of flavors in all of their dishes is superb. Saltiness, acidity, spice… all create a beautiful harmony. The cod salad was out of this world. Would go again and again.

   I loved the food. It was well seasoned, comforting and flavorful! My husband was shocked at how quickly the food came out but still managed to taste sooooooo delicious. The only minor set back was that it’s an intimate space so when the door opens, one can feel every bit of the draft from outside.

   I’m from Kentucky. But Cane is ALWAYS a stop for me when visiting my girlfriend. It’s the first date we had and has been consistent for our last 5 years. 😍

    Cane is a small, cozy but comfortable restaurant in the up and coming NE Washington DC area. The staff was very polite and accommodating and answered all of their guests questions on the menu. Once we made our orders the food arrived so quickly that we were kind of shocked but in a good way. The food was tasty and spicy, a good heat generator on a chilly winter evening. The only negative comment is that the all Caribbean sound track was too loud for conversation and did not vary in beat enough to give relief. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant, casual dining experience
