Cantoro Trattoria is a family owned upscale yet casual Italian restaurant featuring house made pastas and traditional Italian cuisine including a variety of pizzas cooked in our wood burning pizza oven. Our in house sommelier and general manager Ian McClain maintains a complete wine list from around the world with emphasis on selections from Italy. Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020,2021, and 2022. Mlive "Top 10 List" for best Italian restaurant's in Michigan 2017 and 2022.

    Work colleagues and vendors in for dinner, we shared all entrees like family style. Food and wine were excellent!

    Food was fine. Value? Wine was fine. I asked for separate checks so I could buy the wine bottles, server split the checks. Wasn’t offered dessert, huh? I’d go back, but not as a first choice.

    It's always a delight for the senses, sight, taste, and olfactory, at Cantoro. The atmosphere is always bright and upbeat.The diners are a great mix of ages so it's comfortable for everyone. The food is delicious, the menu has good variety. The service is always pleasant and efficient.

    Once again it was a fantastic dining experience at Cantoro. Service from Rebecca cannot be beat. Pizza was bubbling hot when it arrived and absolutely delicious!

    Very busy so we overlooked the unusual delay in service. Our entrée order got "lost" which caused an almost 30 minute delay in getting our food. The manager made it right and we WILL go back.

    I organized a business dinner for 10 people at this restaurant and it was excellent. The food was fantastic and the service was great. No complaints.

    Our server was excellent considering she had so many to serve. The food was delicious, however, the presentation needs attention. All of our pasta dishes looked the same. The pasta sauce was all the same. It was too much food for lunch and we all had leftover boxes to take home. A suggestion would be to serve a little less pasta and perhaps add a side dish like a small salad or vegetable. There should be other menu offerings such as veal, beef, fish, etc. Because it was a birthday celebration, we did enjoy our time together in a nice venue. We will be back for dinner.
