   It was fantastic. We came as a family of four to celebrate husband birthday and our Littles loved the music + the staff was so sweet to them. My husband and I look forward to coming on comedy night soon!

   I took my mother there for the first time for brunch and she truly enjoyed it! The food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful. I'm already planning to return with my mother to celebrate her birthday!

   Love, love, love this place! Great neighborhood spot for me but worth coming from another neighborhood to visit. The staff were just incredible. The space was so nice! The food was so delicious.

   Nikki was an absolute breath of fresh air. Great personality and just wonderful to be in her presence. The food was good, although a bit overpriced but the service was so slow! There is no way we should have sat there for 4 hours although we were having a good time and the food was good.

   The food was tasty and our server was wonderful. She alerted us to the fact that two of the items we ordered off the Vegetarian menu, in fact, had meat products used in preparation. (Kudos to her for that!) The music (and karaoke performances) blasting from the speakers by our table made it impossible to have a conversation, unfortunately. Definitely a mixed bag and I wish it was a better experience because I really wanted to like it - everyone was so friendly.

   Waiters were showing favoritism based on skin tone. They would be so polite and articulate with those with whiter skin. At times they came out to refill water and didn’t ask if I wanted mines refilled. I came in first but somehow I was always walked pass and getting checked on last. That day was my last day there.

   My friend and I went here on Thursday at 6:30. We booked a reservation although it was not needed there were tables open. We were seated immediately and warmly greeted at the door. I started with the Ricky Froze cocktail which was Yummy ! And my friend had the “What a melon” cocktail which was good (just stir it up first) because then it won’t taste as strong lol. The setting was nice to sit outside under the covered patio. One suggestion I have is to have small plates on the table so food can be easily shared. We order the Crab Mac and Cheese which was delicious; full of crab meet and made with cavatappi pasta. I chose this based on other reviews and I was not disappointed! We had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp were meaty and big ! So good! The grits were a bit runny and the seasoning was mild but overall not bad! I ordered the Oxtail with Jollof rice. The oxtail was a bit fatty so not a lot of pieces of meat but the jollof rice was yummy! The inside has a nice bar but a small seating area. Overall ambiance is very fancy!

    The overall experience was good: food, ambience, location. The only area of improvement needed would be in coordination: keeping track of what's needed at each table. But, the FOOD! That alone is worth return trips!
