   The food was not as good as previously. A tomato salad managed to be taste-free, and veal escalope should be tastier than this was. The tiramisu was awful. Prices seemed higher too. But the worst thing was a table of 5 near us, some of whom did a lot of shouting at the tops of their voices about their drab little lives until we couldn’t wait to leave. We won’t go again.

   The best calves liver in London-thinly sliced and perfectly cooked.Great list of Italian wines,fairly priced.Attentive and friendly service. Tables for two quite close to each other.

   Our first time at the restaurant. We had lunch. Menu was comprehensive and well balanced as was the wine list. 2 of our party are vegetarians and were very well catered for. The food was delicious and the service very good. Will definitely return!

   You just do not get any better than The Caraffini. After 25 years the standard remains the highest every time we eat there. It just does not vary.

   It may not suit anyone who likes noise, loud music and indifferent food. This restaurant is a treasure. Good food, relaxed ambiance, excellent service and good value for money. So many diners return again and again. Why? Because they love it.

    Good Italian food, well cooked and served with a smile. A busy, bustling restaurant with a welcoming vibe. A little on the pricey side at £190 for two inc. bottle of house wine- but it is in Chelsea, so to be expected and the portions were generous. Overall very good experience.
