   Overall good atmosphere and good service, restaurant is well kept and upscale casual. Steak I thought could use more seasoning and butter to be melted but that’s a personal preference. Drinks were great as were hosts.

   First time here and I was very impressed. The restaurant was celebrating their one year anniversary and they provided free glass of champagne which was a nice touch. Had drinks at bar which were excellent. There was no rush from the hostess and we sat at a nice booth with our guests. Waitress was very professional and offered us another glass of celebratory champagne which we accepted. Bed prepares a complimentary soup which was fantastic. For main course I had the risotto wand it was very good. Others had steak and they all were very happy. I would recommend a visit and I will be back.

   First time patron for a celebration. My date and I both ordered steaks cooked medium - done perfectly. We shared delicious mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. Little touches like bread, sample-sized soup, and complimentary champagne were appreciated. Our waitress and others provided the optimal amount of excellent service. We enjoyed the minimalist modern vibe of the decorating and the vaguely energetic, unobtrusive electronic music. Friendly and quick valet parking simplified the arrival and departure. Did think it was odd to not have a place to hang our coats. We dressed partway up, but most other patrons were quite casual despite the requested dress code.

   The decor is everything I hoped it would be! Sleek, modern, dark and romantic. The amuse bouche was indescribable! It was a mushroom soup (creamy). I do not like the texture of mushrooms so I don’t eat them. This was so amazing: salty and earthy. We ate it up fast and could’ve licked the dish! Tenderloin and scallops for one of us and the steak frites for the other (but we shared as usual). The crust on the steak was perfection. The lobster mac and cheese was one of the best we have had (lobster was a tiny tad over but probably because we dove into that last and it sat several minutes before we even got to it) . The scallops were done perfectly. Highly recommend! Do yourself a favor and have the Marilyn Monroe cocktail. Have two! If you get Teagan as your server-you will be well cared for!     Excellent meal, great service. We will definitely be back. We split a salad and soup (which they divided for us in the kitchen... So much easier than sharing a plate), both got the fillet. I got the brandy cream peppercorn sauce which was phenomenal. We shared the creamed spinach and the Parmesan truffle fries. I got one of their signature drinks, a vanilla vodka passion fruit concoction. It was fabulous. I highly recommend Carbon and we look forward to returning.
