From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

    If you like eating dinner with strangers this is the place for you! The tables are so close you can barely stand up between them. They call them “half booths.” We learned all sorts of things about the people on our right and left. We asked for an actual booth which were all empty when we arrived at 5:15 but were seated at a tiny, tiny table for two. Paid 50 for branzino; bread is a 7 delicacy. Food was tasty, but the bill with one drink, no dessert and no coffee was 125. If you like pizza it’s ok, though there are lots of pizza places around. Vietri has better pizza and Seasons 52 has better fish. Won’t go back mostly because it’s impossible to have a conversation that isn’t heard by everyone.

    Everything about our experience was excellent! That was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time! Service was excellent, the decor is beautiful and fun! A great mix of vintage/classic style.I love all of the charming details – the food was wonderful! The cocktails were wonderful! We can’t wait to go back 🥰

    Amazing meal! Shared the chopped salad and three of the pastas, all delicious. Love the wine from Tuscany too, and the holiday decor is beautiful.

    Asked to sit far from the bar area, there were many empty tables over there but told we couldn't. When we left an hour later the same tables over there were still empty. Place is just too loud. Service was very good.

    We were here for brunch. Our server was attentive but kitchen was incredibly slow. Restaurant was no where near full but food delivery was awful. Some of us finished our meals before others even got theirs, and the simplest things like bacon and eggs arrived last. Lovely place. Would give it another try but not a iOS first impression
