   2nd time here and it’s another great experience. Fantastic dishes with incredible appetizers. Service is set to a great cadence from drinks to dessert. Definitely going back again.

   The food was delicious, the service was decent, the prices were a bit steep, and the noise level was ridiculously high - I couldn't hear what was being said at my table.

   The food used to be great but it has gone so downhill. Meatballs were tasteless and dry and the cacio pepe was watery and very bland. Not worth the $$. Disappointing because it used to be so good!!

   Everything was terrific. We left Carina Sorella talking about the dishes we had, and what we will be ordering next time. How often is a restaurant so compelling that you are planning your return? The appetizers were great. I can recommend two strategies: get the meatballs, they are delicious. Or get the Caesar's Salad, there is enough for two and the staff encourages you to order one and share. We had the special, the fried pork cutlet with arugula. Yowzer, did that taste great, it should be on the daily menu. The mafaldine bolognese was terrific. You can't find cacio e pepe at just any Italian restaurant, and it is done so well here. The service was terrific from entering the restaurant to ordering to during the meal. Not intrusive. Carina Sorella rightly pays attention to this. It doesn't help a 4-star chef present a great dinner if you leave the restaurant thinking about the bad service. We have been to the sister restaurant Trattoria Cucina a number of times. This new Bryn Mawr edition is a hopping place and worthy of the great reputation of the Spruce Village location.

   The food and ambiance were very good. I really enjoyed my pasta... when it arrived... an hour and a half after I sat down. They were busy at the bar for happy hour, but overall not busy. There was only one bartender taking our happy hour order so I gave him grace but I became annoyed when he blamed the kitchen for being backed up and us for coming in during "busy happy hour" rather than admitting he forget to put in my order. Take accountability. My family was done their food before I got mine. I could tell he was doing a lot, but he was slow in general (no fast moving for the amount of people he had). I saw the manager come and talk to him somewhat sternly twice. I might go back if I am in the area but I hope they will be more prepared for a sunny Thursday happy hour than they were this time.

   This was our first visit to Carina Sorella, and we loved it! Kate was an excellent server, we had a very comfortable booth by the window, the atmosphere is terrific, and the food was great too!
