   The food and ambiance were very good. I really enjoyed my pasta... when it arrived... an hour and a half after I sat down. They were busy at the bar for happy hour, but overall not busy. There was only one bartender taking our happy hour order so I gave him grace but I became annoyed when he blamed the kitchen for being backed up and us for coming in during "busy happy hour" rather than admitting he forget to put in my order. Take accountability. My family was done their food before I got mine. I could tell he was doing a lot, but he was slow in general (no fast moving for the amount of people he had). I saw the manager come and talk to him somewhat sternly twice. I might go back if I am in the area but I hope they will be more prepared for a sunny Thursday happy hour than they were this time.

   This was our first visit to Carina Sorella, and we loved it! Kate was an excellent server, we had a very comfortable booth by the window, the atmosphere is terrific, and the food was great too!

    This was my first time dining here and, unfortunately, it’ll be my last. When we were seated, we noticed the knives all had food caked on them and were filthy. I don’t think they were ever washed. The server immediately brought us new utensils. Then, we were informed the bartender hadn’t shown up to work yet so we could only order mimosa type drinks since the server could only make those. The bartender did eventually show up about 20 minutes in. For the food, two breakfast pizzas were ordered. The server informed us that one was so burnt they had to remake it. She left a pizza on the table but that one was totally burnt as well. The new pizza didn’t come until everyone else had finished eating. (The server did comp one of the pizzas. Personally, I would have comped both.) My burger came out well-done so it was just okay. It has potential if it had been cooked to order. I never saw a manager or someone who appeared to be in charge. The ambiance is nice but it was just a disappointing experience. Lots of room for improvement!
