Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too.
The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

    We recently had the pleasure of dining at Carlos @ B&V, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive, polite, and warm, making us feel welcomed and valued. This set the tone for a fantastic evening. We enjoyed a delightful three-course meal with a great variety of options. Each dish was well-portioned and delicious, leaving all eight of us with content bellies. The menu catered to diverse tastes, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. The meal was well-priced considering the high standard of both the food and service, complemented by an excellent wine selection. The dessert choices were the perfect finale to our dining experience. An unexpected highlight was the round-table magician, whose impressive tricks added a fun and unique touch to the evening. Carlos @ B&V is ideal for both group gatherings and romantic dinners, with an inviting and comfortable ambiance. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.     We were welcomed and looked after throughout lunchtime by the staff, even though they were rushed off their feet catering for several large company groups having their Christmas lunches. Despite the large numbers, the food was superb. We have been to Carlos B&V several times in the past when staying locally to look after our grandchildren - it is a treat for all the family.

    A great place for lunch or dinner with a very warm, friendly and welcoming vibe to go with delicious food and a great wine list. I treated my family to a Sunday roast which did not disappoint - generous helpings of meat plus all the trimmings and a nice selection for the kids too. Staff as always were super attentive and knowledgeable. Service did not wane even though it was super busy Sunday. Always a pleasure to visit Carlos @ BV

    We had a fantastic evening. It was very comfortable seating and nice lighting. I did order the prawns which were delicious, but I wish I’d had more on the plate! We had a glass of champagne, a bottle of Pinot Grigio and crème brûlée to share at the end! It was very yummy. The lychee cocktail was incredible 💗 This will be a regular for us as a good treat. Thank you to everyone working there and making our evening really fun and the close-up magician included was superb! See you soon !!!
