   The wine was on the pricey side and our Chicken Milanese was slightly overcooked but these minor blemishes were completely outweighed by the excellent service provided by all the staff.

   To keep this revue in context. We ate at 5.30pm on a Sunday afternoo. There were few clients which enabled the staff to give outstanding service throughout the meal. The food was excellent in presentation and taste.

   Very poor allergy awareness - seemed very unsure and needed persuading to go and check with kitchen. Came back with a no the dish is not suitable but did not give any other suggestions or provide what was suitable. This was despite the allergy being altered to on the open table booking. We therefore had very little confidence in allergy awareness and safety so decided to leave without eating. Also, despite reserving there appeared to only be a very poorly suitated table avaliable.

   We had a lovely family birthday lunch and the staff went out of their way to make it a special and memorable occasion. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and professional, friendly staff. Thank you Carluccio’s Cambridge!

   Service was poor, despite the restaurant being half full and arriving in good time we had to bolt the food down to finish in time for our cinema booking. A long while since we have been and it was better previously.

   The wait time of nearly 20 minutes after arrival until somebody bothered to take our order was unacceptable. We were not even asked if we wished to have anything to drink while we chose from the menu. It appeared this location was chronically understaffed and the attitude of the staff was appalling, like they didn't care. As for the food, the standard was only fair, with portion sizes on the small side. I doubt we will visit this location again in the future, especially as there many more alternatives in the nearby area.

   The restaurant is a little “Tired”. Service slow and ravioli mostly pasta in a watery sauce.

   The food was excellent however we had to ask three times for a jug of water. When not came to pay we were told that cash was not acceptable. We were not given any choice of alternative payment even though cash is legal currency in the uk. Perhaps it would be better if Carluccio’s policy was that card payment is preferred, rather than such a blanket ban on cash.

    Restaurant looking slightly shabby. Good service, prompt attention as we were on a tight time schedule pre theatre matinee. Food reasonable, nothing to dislike. Limited selection of soft drinks, no lime and soda as they didn't do cordials. Overall it was OK. Think other nearby restaurants might be better for us in future.
