   Not been to Carluccios in Reading for over ten years. Was one of our family favourites when our children were small. I cannot describe how amazing it was to be greeted like old friends by staff we didn't know, taken fantastic care of and given 50th birthday hugs and gifts to take home. If I could give Charlene 11 out of 10 for her hospitality I would! A gorgeous and memorable experience for a joint celebration. HIGHLY recommend.

   We visited Carluccio's while we were working nearby. Great location for us, good food and attentive service. We will definitely be back at our next meeting in Reading.

   We were placed rather close to the kitchen and serving area which was rather noisy. The restaurant itself was quite busy with a lot of background noise. This made conversation a bit difficult. Otherwise, the meal was good value and very tasty.

   Excellent food. Service superb and friendly . Good value and of course there is always lots of goodies on sale in shop. I bought my annual Pannetone. Went home happy .

   Table booked 6.30 Saturday evening and two of our guests ordered the sea bass and there was only one left ,how this could be possible at such an early time on a Saturday I don’t understand. As in my review after our last visit the menu has been reduced so to run out of a popular dish isn’t very professional. We have enjoyed going to this Carluccios for years but probably won’t return now. The wine list has been reduced with no carafes available and wine prices high . Restaurant always had a personal touch for us but this has changed but then a lot of the original staff have left. Such a shame I can’t see this brand lasting much longer

   The food was great for the price. We didn't have the set menu. it was very reasonable The staff were very friendly and I love the fact you aren't sat on top of each other and the restaurant is very airy

    Poor customer service, on the day of our booking we received a phonecall that they had a private function on that day, but we could pay £65pp to join. Clearly some sort of booking issue!
