   We booked a birthday meal for two of our party and the waitress asked if it was a birthday when I first got there, but neither birthday was acknowledged. I had expected perhaps a sparkler or a free desert. In addition I arrived 15 minutes before our booking but no one approached me to order a coffee or a drink. Waitresses were not attentive and we had to ask for desserts and then the bill. A little more attention on a special occasion would have been good.

   Overall an average experience - even though the restaurant was quiet, once our food arrived we didn't see the servers again at all, not to check if everything was ok or whether we wanted to order anything else, or even to offer the bill; we had to go looking for them to pay. The food was average, acceptable value for money but nothing exceptional.

   Excellent and polite service, perfect Valentine's Day atmosphere and menu selection. Would definitely go again. Perfectly cooked courses, presented with perfection on the plates. Very reasonably priced too and plenty of space around seating and other diners. Perfect.

   Nice place to eat if you are at St Pancras stations. The carbonara was very salty - the waiter was happy to replace it with a pizza which was nice of him. Dont order Espresso Martinis - they dont know how to make them!
