   My experience at Carmen‘s in Atlantic City was amazing when we arrive. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated for our table. The service was exquisite. The food was delicious and the drinks were to die for I give it a 10 out of 10 definitely a great place for date night And to celebrate your birthday anniversary or just a girls night out top-tier

   Food was decent, but not mind blowing. The best thing I ate there were the cannolis. Absolutely perfect. Disappointed that I mentioned in our reservation notes thar we were celebrating birthdays and despite everyone else with birthdays being sung to or their dessert having candles, nothing happened at our table for us.

   The portions are crazy big I would not recommend it for groups less than four We were also disappointed that they weren’t able to honor my Caesars anniversary dinner hundred dollars towards a meal but they could take Caesars reward credits Kind of contradictory and the reason we chose this place was because I wanted to use my anniversary certificate before the end of the year

   Although it is understandably family-style Italian dining, it should not be a place for corporate companies to have “convention-like meetings/awards recognition” which is what happened at my birthday dinner in AC. My husband and I couldn’t even have a conversation without shouting. The group was that obnoxious and we will never dine at Carmine’s again. We’ve been to other family-style Italian restaurants and have never experienced anything of the like, i.e. Ralph’s, Maggiano’s, Buca di Beppo when it was open etc. They have rooms for those types of events. Food was good but the manager didn’t even try to appease or suggest a solution. Worst birthday experience I’ve ever had.

   Ordered, calamari was decent. Eggplant Parmesan was tough. Porterhouse Contandina was salty, Sausage was poor quality, only food that was to our liking was the Ravioli. Have eating at Carmine 2-3 times a year, done with Carmines for a while.

   We took our staff for Holiday Dinner Family Style The Restaurant is festively decorated for Christmas with a comfortable yet elegant ambiance We started with stuffed mushrooms which absolutely delectable Hot Antipasto was HUGE and perfect for a large table Smorgasbord of Italian cuisine including Clams casino mussels eggplant Rollitini Stromboli and the cheese dip were incredible Shrimp scampi was fresh cooked perfectly and as good as I have experienced anywhere 45 Oz Porterhouse shared well and was tender, cooked perfectly and scrumptious Veal Marsala was outstanding with savory sauce and butter soft veal were winners Chicken parm and pasta with meatballs reminded me of Sunday gravy dinner at Grandmas Service was exceptional and attentive without smothering you Cocktails inc Old fashion and margaritas were top shelf as was the wine all quality n excellent Cheesecake espresso and after dinner drinks were the perfect way to end a memorable meal I’ll be back

    Plentiful portions, enough food to satisfy 4 of us. Jasmine, our server was excellent, as was the rest of the staff.
