Milwaukee's premier steakhouse, Carnevor is one of Wisconsin’s most acclaimed fine dining destinations.                                                                                                         I am from Chicago and eat at great restaurants all the time, and Carnevor could easily be a Chicago steakhouse. Great food and service, the staff is on top of their game and extremely personable. If you are in Milwaukee, you have to try this steakhouse.

                                                                                                        We really enjoyed our time at Carnevor. Our waitress, Diane, was excellent. Very attentive and patient with us. We started with Octopus as an appetizer. It was perfectly made. We then moved on to the lobster bisque. Very creamy with a decent amount of lobster. For dinner, we had bone in ribeye and a filet mignon. I recommend the garlic butter on the top. Med/Rare was perfect for us. Overall, the meal was great. Price higher than most, but was a bucket list item for me.

No matter how busy the dining room gets, you always get an amazing meal. Our steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the sides were terrific, and the beet salad was interesting in its presentation and was a hit. It is always a pleasure to dine there. The service is attentive and top-notch. People who have negative reviews are just looking to complain about anything.
