   Arrived with a reservation, had to wait to be seated since there was no one at the door. After being seated, we were informed that the restaurant was short staffed so “service” was very slow. It took 30 minutes for two apps. Food finally arrived - well half of our table got served and the other half had another 20 minute wait. The food was not worth the wait!

   Beautiful tasty entrees- had the eggs Benedict- slightly varied from what I would have thought would be the entree, but it was a beautiful and absolutely delicious. My son had the ice cream French toast which is a perfect combination. We extended our stay chatting with our families and were never coerced otherwise. Highly recommend!-

   May have been an off day but it was better in the past. Food took a long time to come out and I realized later there were no potatoes as described in the menu. I was disappointed as I had guests from out of town with me. It really was better in the past.

   Food and service were both terrible. Service was very slow and food took long to get to us. When we did get our food it was bland with no flavor and over cooked. I would not recommend.

   We had dinner during restaurant hours week. The food was very good as per usual and the value excellent. What I like most though is that the restaurant is quiet. One can talk and listen. This is a rare restaurant attribute in Fredericksburg.

    Great meal! The food was very good, and not your usual regulars. They had that, but they were also creative and successfully so. The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth going back there!
