The staff were so kind and helpful especially Catherine. They couldn’t do enough to help us. The food was delicious as was the Prosecco. It’s a really lovely place to sit and chill with friends or family. We will definitely be back!

Lovely experience from start to finish. Pleasant welcome from staff on arrival. Great selection of sandwiches, cakes etc. We had one gluten free option as one of the group has coeliac disease. This was requested when booked and it was no problem. Great atmosphere, clean, tidy staff all very attentive and working hard to keep everyone happy. Well done, we will be back!

Service was average. We were seated and then no one came near us , we had to go and ask for water for the table so that someone would come and serve us. Food was good however the restaurant was cold.

The filling in sandwiches was scraped on and scraped off again. Very poor choice of fillings only tuna or egg mayo or cheese and ham. The bread was a normal shop bought loaf. The tea came from a big teapot that had obviously been sitting as it was so strong and not very hot. No staff came ober to ask if we needed any more drinks although there were 4 of them going about and it was not busy. The only saving grace was the cakes they were lovely. This was bought on an itison deal and we will not be buying them again.

Afternoon tea was very good. Service left much to be desired. We asked if wine could be substituted for Prosecco which was done. Cakestand with sandwiches and cakes was brought quickly but then after sitting for some ten minutes we had to ask for tea. Later we then had to ask for a second cup of tea. We also heard other people ask for the same. There were plenty of staff around but did not approach customers to see if they needed anything. This was the o my thing we could fault with the whole experience.
