   Sandwiches were poor. Aside from the standard ham & cheese, egg, and tuna, on soggy supermarket brown bread, there were thin slices of white baguette with cream cheese and a sliver of salmon, coronation chicken, and some mystery veggie paste. Mini cheese quiche were okay. Mini sausage rolls weren't great Scones were tiny, but actually quite tasty. Strawberry, mixed fruit, and marmalade jams. The cream wasn't clotted, but whipped. Cakes were better. Strawberry tarts, meringues, banoffee pie, lemon meringue, and gateaux. We got one mug of tea on arrival, poured from a huge urn - no individual pots here. I asked for Earl Gray. Never received it. No-one came to offer more tea, or ask if we wanted a drink. We had to put used plates on the next table, as no-one came to clear these. No-one bothered to ask how we enjoyed our afternoon tea as we left. If you're expecting a Hilton standard, don't. You'll be disappointed.

   It was fab, been several times for afternoon tea, was the buffet afternoon tea lots of different selections to choose from, staff were helpful and the singer was good made the atmosphere nice and relaxing.

   Enjoyed our afternoon buffet tea selection of sandwiches were lovely and fresh cakes were great also large selection and very tasty staff were lovely and also there was a young boy singing and he was wonderful sang lovely songs something for everyone

   Lovely afternoon tea cakes especially were beautiful and as we didn’t finish them all got them In a box to take away

   Food was excellent with friendly efficient service. We ate early as we were going to theatre so restaurant was fairly quiet but we'd definitely eat here again.

    Staff not very attentive and restaurant was very cold. Food was delicious though
