Food OK; one diner had birthday meal; Management was going to deny her the $50 free birthday dinner credit until we complained. Service very slow even though restaurant almost empty. Server was good when he got to us.

We arrived early for our reservation and was promptly seated. Once seated we waited for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us, prompting us to request a manager. When the manager arrived, he said he would look into it, and asked if we wanted to stay, or change servers. We chose to stay, though it was never made clear who our original server was supposed to be. The hostess was friendly and stated she started 3 days ago. We are unsure if she put us in a section with no server was assigned or what happened. However, it was a slow night and there were a number of servers who passed by but did not help. While Richard, our new server, was nice and professional, the manager could have demonstrated a greater level of care and professionalism. A brief follow-up to ensure we were being taken care of would have gone a long way. Instead, his response felt dismissive, as though he simply wanted to move past our situation without addressing it fully. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing, especially on a night we had been looking forward to. Hopefully, this can be addressed by general management.

Food and service was good, not great. Not sure what all the hype is about for this place. Great atmosphere and $45-$55 entrees does not make a restaurant great. The food quality, selections and service justify a $30 a plate price. The tiramisu tastes like it had been frozen and the options for anyone desiring gluten free are very limited. This seems like the cool place to post meal pictures on social media vs actually being a great restaurant.

The Mixed Grille special was amazing! And the Fried chicken, Mac and cheese with cold pressed watermelon juice- reminiscent of the old south.

Service was slow. Took forever to get drinks then check after. There was several screaming babies that should have been asked to leave but restaurant wouldn’t do anything. 6:30 on a Saturday evening shouldn’t be like that when you are ordering a $70 steak and expensive wine.
