   We’ve eaten there twice. The first time was a quiet Tuesday evening and everything was very good including the service. Our experience, Saturday night, had real issues with the service. It took ten minutes plus before anyone approached our table. We ordered drinks, which took over twenty minutes to arrive. They began delivering appetizers before our drinks. Eventually we asked for a manager. Then as they were serving the entrees they informed one guest that there selection wasn’t available, but that should have been communicated right after the order was placed and not when the entrees were being delivered. The food was as good as the first time, which we really enjoyed, but the service, operations side needs to be reviewed and tweaked. You should never pay those prices and receive that type of service.

   Ambiance, food and service were stupendous! We had Chilean sea bass, some maki rolls and nigiri, everything excellent, fish very fresh and delicious.

   Had a reservation and didn’t get seated until 45 min after we got there. For a restaurant to have a no show charge if you don’t make your reservation you’d think they’d hold themselves responsible too for not being ready for you coming to the establishment.

   It was a rough start, they sat us by the Bar area which is not a bad place, but I wanted to sit in the main dining area. We asked the hostess but she said she could not accommodate us because they were booked with large parties. My husband walked to the main dining area and it was empty! Needless to say we spoke to some of the Managers, Carl and Alejandría and was taken care of immediately. The food was amazing !!! It’s a 10 out 10. I would highly recommend Catch to everyone who is looking for a great experience!!!! The manager made sure to make it a Great Finish.

   I was incredibly disappointed with my New Year’s Eve experience at Catch in Miami. Having visited their other locations in LA and Las Vegas, which were outstanding, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, this location fell significantly short. We were a party of six with a 10:30 PM reservation. Despite arriving on time, we weren’t seated until 11:15 PM. By the time the main course was served, it was already midnight. We headed upstairs to watch the fireworks, only to realize the view was obstructed by another building. What little we could see felt like an afterthought rather than a curated experience for guests. Adding to the disappointment, the service was rushed and inattentive. Our server brought all the food at once, leaving everything cold by the time we returned to the table. When we tried to express our concerns, the waitress was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. The manager we spoke to showed no effort to resolve our issues or ensure a better experience. The food quality was another letdown. The main course was subpar and cold, and within minutes, we were rushed into dessert service. It was clear they wanted to clear the table, which made us feel unwelcome. Moreover, for a venue charging a significant minimum package (including a 20% tip), I expected a lively New Year’s Eve ambiance with a DJ, show, or dancers—something to mark the occasion. Instead, the atmosphere was lackluster and lacked any celebratory vibe. This was our main plan for New Year’s Eve, and it turned out to be a massive disappointment. Compared to the excellent experiences I’ve had at other Catch locations, Miami was a glaring misstep in both service and quality. I would not recommend this venue for special occasions.

    My husband and I are big fans of the catch chain. Catch NYC has been our go to for many years for regular date night and NYE celebrations. We were very excited to find out that they had opened one in Miami seven months ago and we decided to give them a shot for new years. First off the restaurant is stunning. Great vibe when you walk in. The guy at the front desk was ok. He didn’t give the best welcome but our interaction was pretty short. We then went to the bar to enjoy a cocktail before going to our table (our choice cause we got there early). Bar is stunning and drinks were perfect. We then asked for a table on the rooftop cause we felt like the vibe would be more special with the fireworks. Rooftop is huge and really special. The food was at the level of catch NYC maybe even better. The service was great and very attentive. Shout out to a little Moroccan man who was really sweet and who gave me a orchid bud. Close to midnight they started giving NYE hats, necklaces etc.. with a glass of champagne which was a nice touch. The only constructive comment I have is that they could have made the countdown feel a little more special. We didn’t feel any NYE orchestration or vibe from the restaurant. The music should have been louder, with a special countdown. But it’s their first year so I’m sure next year will be better. Overall, everything was close to perfection and we will 100% be back!
