   Over the years, and through ownership changes, Cattlemen’s has consistently offered excellent, unpretentious, food and great service. Even though there are many new faces among the staff, service standards have remained high. Last night, Kelci was our server and she did a great job and was very pleasant.

   The food and service was great! Our waiter Gabe was awesome! The wine he recommended was delicious!Grilled salmon had wonderful flavor and the pork chop was tender and flavorful. Baked potato with all the extras was perfect! Definitely one of our favorite places to eat in Show Low! 5 stars for sure!!

   The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were pleasant to talk with. There was 3 of us that went for dinner. All 3 stakes were undercooked, the sever forgot to order our 2 lobsters that we ordered with our 2 filet mignon. We asked for horseradish and never got it. The pricing was reasonable.

   We enjoyed our group of 10 guests. Did not realize all the veggies, side salad, sweet potato fries, chefs choice vegetables, blackened filet mignon, loaded baked potatoes, extras were extra $$. After dinner was served, we ordered dessert and coffee ...... waited and waited until we had to remind them. Total bill was $548.59 OUCH

   It was the holiday season with lots of large parties going on and we were dining near 3 large filled tables. The staff did great with no signs of stress and the kitchen cranked out the food in a very timely manner. We were thoroughly impressed how they handled it all.

   Thought it was awkward when server said “ I wished you would have told me you had a discounted card! “ when it was time to pay. We had a glass company gift card. Better way to handle as was a bit embarrassing with the couple we were with!

   Excellent waitress, food was good except the cod was over cooked. Steak was excellent and the appetizer zucchini was great.

   I would have given the restaurant higher ratings, but we experienced a "rushed" dinner. I wanted to relax more enjoy our christmas dinner with family, but we were constantly being rushed for everything. To start, we hadn't even sat down and the nice waiter asked what we wanted to drink. Please come back I said....there's more

   Fantastic food at this local gem. The filet was cooked perfectly and the au gratin potatoes were creamy and delicious.

    We've eaten here several times. We've never had bad service. Though I just don't understand why the food never comes out HOT. It's always tepid. The baked potato was cold, salad underdressed (for my liking), cold, small piece of country fried steak with lukewarm gravy. I've tried different items on the menu and I honestly enjoy this restaurant, but I wish they could serve the food a lot warmer.
