Cedar + Elm is the heart of The Lodge at St. Edward State Park, a beautifully restored landmark hotel peacefully tucked away in a lush 326-acre forest just 30 minutes from Seattle.

Led by Executive Chef Luke Kolpin (Formerly of Noma and Bravo's Top Chef), Cedar + Elm’s menu is inspired by the undeniable spirit of the region we’re proud to call home. Every ingredient, flavor, and method of preparation is infused with an anchored authenticity. The bounty of each season informs our direction, culminating in familiar and approachable dishes with refined presentations and bold flavors.

Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, or brunch, for an inspired Pacific Northwest dining experience. We also feature live music in our Tonsorium Bar Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well as all night happy hour Sunday through Thursday!

Experience the best of the bounty of each season through thoughtful renderings of Northwest cuisine with his signature Nordic touch, taken from years at restaurant NOMA in Copenhagen. Let us guide you through 5 courses of meticulously plated offerings, leaving nothing to be desired. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if any dietary restrictions or allergies need to be accommodated. Optional wine pairings are $65 per person. Join us at The Lodge at St Edward for a one-of-a-kind night of phenomenal music from an amazing lineup of stringed instrument virtuosos. Our resident master, Andre Feriante, has assembled a lineup of players like no other. Featuring unique performances from artists Andre Feriante, Gus Denhard and Charlie Solbrig and featuring instruments include Spanish guitar, various lutes, baroque guitar, harp guitar, oud, and acoustic guitar. They will play music for the season, ancient and modern along with classic guitar songs. Each will bring their own styling and flavor to this very special night. Price includes grazing appetizers, and our full beverage menu will be available during the performance. This will be a night not to miss!

It was really cold. The service was great. The oatmeal was flavored well. The congee was not very flavorful but the chicken was good.

Husband and I made reservations for afternoon tea time. We arrived a bit early so grabbed a few cocktails that are crafted with unique ingredients. Amazing! Then off to tea time! Service, food, ambience and the live music was fabulous! We would return again!

The afternoon tea was wonderful. We truly enjoyed the delicious food, tea and infused water. Sally was an amazing server and full of fun and spirit . The woman playing the guitar was talented, but I need to add this comment. I came to have tea and visit with my very special daughters. It was way too noisy with the music and really distracted from our conversation. I would have loved the tea a hundred times more with just the buzz of happy conversations happening around me. It was so hard to hear my daughters across the table or even next to me. Thanks for thinking about this.

Evening was pretty underwhelming. Service was quite bumpy with an inattentive waiter, who when he finally checked in with us after the food was delivered and finished said, "You guys done?" Kind of odd. I had the poussin which was tasty but my partner's fish was okay. The best part of the meal was the seasonal salad.

Cedar and Elm has consistently been a wonderful experience. We love to take family and friends here for lunch or dinner. Great quality food, service and ambiance. They are also very conscientious regarding potential food allergies.

Even though our brunch reservation was for noon, and they were serving brunch until 2pm, we were informed most of the food and cocktails weren’t available because they ran out. I ended up ordering an egg sandwich on croissant. The 4 this slices of avocado on top was another $4 for a total of $23 for an egg sandwich. The location and ambience are the main attractions here. The food and service were sub par.

Celebrated friends birthday 70th, best time ever!! Our waitress Davla was outstanding !! For a party of 6, she explained the fabulous menu and her service was legendary !! We will be back again.
